Our Remedial Massage Therapist

Kiara Phillips

Kiara Phillips is one of the newest additions to the team at Ellenbrook Chiropractic and Wellness Centre.

Having played over 15+ years of top level basketball as a junior for Dandenong Rangers in Melbourne, Kiara moved to the United States to play Division 1 NCAA Basketball for Norfolk State University.

Her rigorous playing regime gave her a broader interest of the human body, which led her to studying Remedial Massage. With her professional athletic background, Kiara continues to build on her knowledge and experience in Injury Prevention and Rehabilitative methods. Having spent the last 4 years as a Remedial Massage Therapist, Kiara is currently pursuing her passion to become a Doctor of Physiotherapy while balancing work and basketball in tandem.

Her holistic approach to therapy methods makes her smile everyday, as she thoroughly enjoys building relationships with her clients and comprehensively catering to their every need. Kiara loves to improve her clients range of movement, as well as contributing to good mental health through their physical wellbeing.

No two days are the same for Kiara, except for her morning coffee order. Her love for a vanilla almond latte on her way to work is likely to be the one thing that will never change in her career.

Kiara enjoys her downtime with plenty of retail therapy and good quality chocolate. It’s a safe bet you’ll find her at a cafe with a good book or unwinding with a stroll at her favourite department stores.

After a long hiatus from the game, Kiara will make a return to competition with the NBL1’s Joondalup Wolves Women’s Basketball team for the 2022 season.
