Qualifications and History
Dr Brown graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) and a Bachelor of Chiropractic. The leading chiropractic graduate of her year, Dr Brown was accordingly awarded the prestigious university medal at Murdoch University. The university medal is only awarded to a student who demonstrates outstanding academic performance during their time at Murdoch University. Dr Brown was also awarded the Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australia Dux for her final year of chiropractic study. Finally, Dr Brown was awarded the CAA (WA) Shirleigh and Douglas Winter award for being the most dedicated and academically gifted student during her chiropractic studies. All her life Dr Brown wanted to be a healthcare professional and it was after her own positive experience that she developed an interest in chiropractic. Dr Brown is passionate about helping people overcome limitations from spinal and soft tissue dysfunction, so they can live life to the fullest. She strongly believes in a wellness approach to care and client centered practice to ensure individual needs are considered when tailoring treatment programs to achieve optimal outcomes. While Dr Brown enjoys treating patients of all age groups, professions and varying conditions, she particularly has an interest in headache disorders and sporting injuries. In 2017, she extended her qualifications with a certificate in Dry Needling and currently teaches anatomy and palpation at Murdoch University. Aside from chiropractic, Dr Brown’s also loves to travel, keep fit and spend time with her family and friends.
