Qualifications and History
Dr Emma Lawrence qualified as a Chiropractor in 2010, having graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) and a Bachelor of Chiropractic. She first developed an interest in chiropractic while still at school, having seen the results that could be achieved after several of her family members received treatment. Due to their positive experiences with chiropractic, Dr Parker realised that chiropractic can help with not only acute injuries, but also was an important long-term approach to maintaining health and wellbeing.
While Dr Lawrence enjoys providing treatments to all her patients she particularly enjoys family practice, focussing on wellness care for the entire family. She has developed a particular interest in treating pregnant women and children. In 2015, Dr Lawrence completed a Certificate in Chiropractic Paediatrics, a course run by Dr Braden Keil – a children’s only chiropractor based in Melbourne. This course greatly enhanced her knowledge and passion for treating children of all ages. She believes that it is during these early years that chiropractic has the potential for the biggest impact, as the spine and nervous system are still growing and developing.
Chiropractic is not her only passion. Dr Lawrence also loves to spend time with animals, read a good book, bake tempting treats and hang out with her family...especially her nieces and nephew.
