Qualifications and History
Dr Emma graduated from Murdoch University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) and a Bachelor of Chiropractic.
What she loves about chiropractic is the ability to help people in a holistic way, with the goal to get to the root cause of a problem rather than just treating the symptoms.
She is passionate about promoting wellness and preventative based care and focuses on tailoring treatments to the needs and goals of the individual.
She uses a variety of techniques in addition to traditional chiropractic adjustments, including drop piece, activator, soft tissue therapies, and is certified in dry needling.
While Dr Emma enjoys treating patients of all ages and a variety of conditions, she has a special interest in family practice and has developed a passion for treating children and babies.
She has continued to further her education in this field, completing a variety of courses focused on paediatric development and treatment techniques. In 2015 she attained a Certificate in Chiropractic Paediatrics, a 12-month program that enhanced her knowledge on treating children from infancy right through the teenage years.
She strongly believes that starting chiropractic care at a young age can have an amazing impact on the developing body, with the aim that early intervention will help prevent the development of chronic issues in the teenage and adult years.
Dr Emma also has a strong interest in women’s health and pregnancy care and has attended numerous courses which have given her the skills and knowledge to assess and treat women from pre-conception right the way through the pregnancy journey and beyond.
When she’s not working Dr Emma tries to maintain an active lifestyle and enjoys reading, playing the piano, and spending time with her family and friends.
